Get to Know Me:

Hello, my name is Rhonda Manning, the owner and designer of Manning the Press, LLC.  I am a mother of 3 amazing adult children. We love life and take our challenges in stride.  My husband was diagnosed with Parkinson’s 18 years ago at the age of 40.  We quickly learned how to embrace every day and adapt as needed.  I was then diagnosed with an auto-immune disease, rheumatoid, 7 years ago.  Life is challenging, but I believe that only serves to make us stronger and more thankful and grateful for what we have.

I started this business almost 8 years ago mainly customizing apparel.  This is where the name originated from.  I love doing a multitude of crafts and quickly started designing and creating custom epoxy tumblers.  The custom tumbler industry has grown vastly since that time in technique, style, and popularity.  While I still customize apparel on occasion, I mainly concentrate on custom tumblers including epoxy, rhinestones, and now sublimation.

This was a secondary venture for me until July 2021.  I had been employed full time prior.  At that time, my husband had some medical complications requiring full time care. I had to make the financially difficult decision to leave the workforce to care for him.  As his health improved, I then focused on my business as a full-time venture.  Our daughter, Lauryn Gappmayer, helps at our vendor events and with my social media.  She is an invaluable asset to this business.  I love working with others to design and create a tumbler they will cherish and enjoy for years to come.  I have created tumblers for businesses, weddings, birthdays, special occasions, and just because.  I also have tumblers available that are ready to sell for those who just want to enjoy a unique tumbler for themselves or as a gift for someone special.

We have lived in the greater Marana area since 2003.  Our 3 children graduated from MVHS.  We built our forever home in Gladden Farms in 2017.  I wanted to be more involved in my community and meet other business owners.  I stepped out of my comfort zone and took my next step recently to join the Marana Chamber of Commerce.  I look forward to meeting new business leaders as well as more members of my community.
